Happy monumental birthday to Belgian middle-distance star Vanessa Scaunet, a three-time national 800m champion and European cross-country relay medalist. Vanessa returned to the Belfast Classic’s international 800m field this May, one year after running her lifetime best of 2:01.05 at the same meeting. Thirty arrives with a decade of championship racing behind her and plenty of serious speed still available.
