Happy monumental birthday to British middle-distance sensation Shaikira King, whose event row could hardly have been more misleading. Shaikira is one of Europe’s finest teenage 800m runners. She reached the 2025 European U20 final, has already run 2:01.49 indoors in 2026, won at Loughborough and recently finished second at the British Championships. and already knocking directly on the two-minute door.
