Olga Pavlova
Happy birthday to Russian sprinter and hurdler Olga Pavlova, whose competition history deserves recognition even though most of it has taken place far from international television cameras. Olga appeared in the 60m hurdles at the 2021 Saint Petersburg U18 indoor championships and continued competing for Sports School No. 2 of the Vasileostrovsky District at the 2024 Saint Petersburg indoor championships. Regional and club athletes do not always receive elaborate profiles or headlines, but persistence is persistence; every season continued, every event attempted and every return to the starting line represents real work that deserves to be seen.
