Nataliia Besidovska

Happy birthday to Ukraine’s Nataliia Besidovska, who was a national champion at 20 and is now building something entirely her own.

June 2025, Lviv. Nataliia went to the Ukrainian U23 Championships and won the 400m in 54.64, a personal best in the same race she took the title, more than a second clear of the field. The next day she came back and took bronze over 200m in 24.86, another personal best, three hundredths off gold in a blanket finish. Two days, two personal bests, a national title and a medal.

That summer she was one of only nine Ukrainian women selected for the European U23 Championships in Bergen. She has three national indoor titles behind her as well, and she was still running relay legs for her Vinnytsia squad indoors this March.

She has since closed that chapter on her own terms and moved into lifestyle content and social media marketing, and she does it with the same eye she brought to a start line. There is a certain kind of athlete who is good at the thing and also good at everything around the thing. Nataliia was always that.
