Happy birthday to Switzerland’s Mégane Cividino, a hurdler currently ranked #362 in the world in the 100m hurdles off a personal best set this spring.

This season alone, Mégane lowered her 100m hurdles best to 13.54 in May and her 60m hurdles best to 8.31 back in March, while also running a 46.94 leg on France’s international relay circuit in a 4x100m for Switzerland. Improving across both the indoor short hurdles and the outdoor full distance in the same season shows the kind of across-the-board technical progress that tends to keep compounding.

Twenty marks the end of Mégane’s U20 career and the start of her U23 one, and she’s arriving there with a world ranking and a fresh personal best already in hand.
