Lucie Kienast
A very happy 25th b-day to German heptathlete Lucie Kienast, who’s a very interesting story. She joined the Illini track team last year with wayyy more experience under her belt than the average freshman, entering with PBs that would’ve placed her at the previous year’s nationals. As expected, she started wrecking it from the word go for the Illini, who are known for a well-developed pipeline to athletic talent from outside the US. Alles Gute zum Geburtstag, Lucie! 🎂🎁🎉🫶🫶
