Liiljan Neerot
Happy birthday to Estonian combined-events athlete Liiljan Neerot, whose World Athletics résumé covers the pentathlon, heptathlon, hurdles, high jump, shot put and 800m. In other words, her actual specialty is refusing to choose only one specialty. Liiljan has competed at Estonia’s national championships across both individual and combined events, bringing an unusually broad set of skills to every season.
