Happy birthday to Polish sprint legend Anna Kiełbasińska, whose career included Olympic silver, World Championships silver, European bronze and a Polish indoor 400m record of 51.10. Anna retired in 2024 after recurring Achilles problems, but retirement does not erase a single relay leg, championship medal or barrier she helped move for Polish women’s sprinting. Legends are allowed to stop racing. They do not stop being legends.
