Happy birthday to Australian heptathlon star Emelia Surch, who became only the ninth Australian woman to pass 6,000 points when she scored 6,068 for bronze at the 2025 World University Games. Emelia has returned in 2026 with a 13.37 over the hurdles and a 42.53m javelin best, strengthening two very important pieces of the seven-event puzzle.

Her Platform: Emelia is also a registered nurse, an @lskd athlete with code EMELIALSKD, and works with @littleathleticsaust and @pillarperformance.
