Happy birthday to Portuguese sprint star Íris Silva, a member of the national-record 4x100m quartet that ran 43.85 at the 2024 European Championships. Íris also owns individual bests of 11.66 over 100m and 7.48 indoors, giving Portugal a proven source of speed whenever relay duty calls. We have not yet seen an official individual mark from her in 2026, but national-record holders have already given us plenty of reasons to keep watching.
