Happy birthday to Galician distance runner Antía Castro, who has already collected two major road victories in 2026. Antía won the 5K held alongside the Coruña21 half marathon in March, then followed it by taking first at the Carrera de la Mujer de Gran Canaria. She owns bests of 16:46.38 over 5000m and 34:54.55 over 10,000m, but her greatest international distinction remains European U20 cross-country team gold with Spain.

Since Antía is Galician, this one deserves Galician rather than generic Spanish:
