Buse Arikazan
Happy birthday to Turkish pole-vault legend Buse Arıkazan, the national-record holder at 4.42m and one of the defining figures in the history of her event in Türkiye. Buse is a Balkan champion, a five-time national champion and a four-time indoor champion who was still clearing four metres late in 2025 and has returned to competition again in 2026. The résumé is long because the career has been excellent for a very long time.
