Happy monumental birthday to Russian throwing star Maria Novikova, who has already won four Russian championship titles before reaching 18. Maria has thrown 47.06m in the senior javelin and 14.09m in the senior shot during 2026, after winning last year’s U18 national title with 15.45m in the shot and reaching 50.97m with the lighter javelin. As her own profile says, she throws and puts everything that can and cannot be thrown.
