Happy birthday to American multi-event talent Ashley Lingueno, who’s spent 2026 proving her range across the hurdles, sprints and relay all at once. Ashley put together a huge weekend in Birmingham this February: on the 25th she equaled her season-best 200m of 24.99 — the same mark she’d first run two weeks earlier in Lubbock, proof it wasn’t a fluke — then came back the next day and lowered her 60m hurdles best to 8.50. She added a 4x100m relay split of 44.74 in May at Homer Bryce Stadium in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Carrying legitimate speed across the hurdles, the flat sprints and a relay leg in the same season is exactly the range heptathletes are built on, and stacking a PB with a repeat-verified season best on back-to-back days suggests she’s rounding into her multi-event peak right on schedule.
