Anastasia Kozub

Happy birthday to Ukrainian high-jump talent Anastasiia Kozub, who has already shown remarkable consistency around the highest marks of her young career. Anastasiia cleared 1.74m three separate times during 2024, won the Ukrainian U18 indoor title and finished fourth at the Balkan U18 Championships with 1.71m.

She continued gaining international experience in 2025, clearing 1.72m at the Balkan U20 Indoor Championships and returning for the outdoor U20 event. Those competitions matter enormously for a developing jumper. Each one teaches an athlete how to manage unfamiliar surroundings, long waits between attempts and the pressure of representing her country. Anastasiia has already proven that her 1.74m ability was repeatable not accidental, & she reaches 19 with national gold, international finals and an excellent technical base behind her.
