Diana Myroshnichenko

Happy birthday to Ukraine’s long jump medalist Diana Myroshnichenko, who exits her teens as one of Europe’s brightest horizontal jump talents.

Last summer in Tampere, Diana claimed European U20 Championships bronze in the long jump — after finishing an agonizingly brilliant fourth at the World U20 Championships in Lima the year before, twice placing top-eight on the world junior stage. A national champion both outdoors and indoors, she stretched her personal best to 6.51m in Lutsk and holds a world ranking inside the top 130 — all while representing her country in wartime with what she herself calls “a fighting spirit.”

A Puma athlete with speed to burn (7.44 over 60m) and her entire senior career ahead, Diana embodies the resilience of a Ukrainian sporting generation that refuses to pause its dreams.
