Happy birthday to America’s Aster Jones, a sprinter closing out her junior career with a fresh 100m personal best from last month.

Aster ran a 100m best of 11.51 this June in Spokane, Washington, building on a 60m best of 7.31 from this past February and a 200m best of 23.47 from last year. Three different sprint distances, three personal bests inside the last sixteen months, all trending the same direction.

Eighteen closes out Aster’s junior career and opens the door to senior competition, and she’s arriving with real momentum behind her. Off to UCLA!
