Happy birthday to Norway’s Kaitesi Ertzgaard, a two-time national indoor champion currently ranked #190 in the world in the 400m and #540 in the 200m.
Kaitesi ran a 400m personal best of 52.30 this past April in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia — real international travel to chase a fast time, and it paid off. Her range extends across the 200m, 300m, and relay legs at both the short indoor distances and the full outdoor ones, and her two national indoor titles confirm she’s been a fixture at the top of Norwegian sprinting for a while now.
