Hadley threw a personal best of 71.98m this past April — a mark that puts her inside the world’s top 55 throwers on the planet, a genuinely elite standing in one of athletics’ most technically demanding events, where the spin, the release angle, and years of strength work all have to come together at once. She competes for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, and her personal best is barely three months old, which means the ceiling on where this season ends is still wide open.
