🇨🇱 TEAM CHILE, DAY 1 AT THE WORLD U20 CHAMPIONSHIPS IN EUGENE

Sofía Contreras is in the World U20 long jump final. 6.09m (+1.4) in group B, eighth best mark of the entire qualifying round, and a place among the twelve women who get to do it all again in the final. A Chilean jumper in a global final is a genuinely big day for Chilean athletics.

Roxana Ramírez (@roxanaramirez109) was in the 100m, running 11.74 in heat 1, and Aurora Bertelsen (@aurorabertelsen) opened her championships over 800m with 2:12.94 in heat 5.
