Natalia Biskupska

Happy birthday to Poland’s pole vaulter Natalia Biskupska, who has won every competition she has entered this season.

Four meets in 2026, four wins: Kielce in June, then Warsaw three times across June and July. Her personal best of 4.20m was set in Warsaw last June and it is the number she keeps in her Instagram bio, in metres and in feet. Indoors she has cleared 4.17m at Toruń.

She has the titles to go with it. In 2023 Natalia won the Polish U20 Championship indoors at Rzeszów and then won it outdoors at Lublin as well, a double in a single season, and her local paper in Kielce counted it as the city’s fourth gold of that indoor championship and the third from her coach’s group alone. In 2025 she took bronze at the Polish U23 Championships in Kraków with 4.00m, and she has worn the Polish vest at the European U23 Championships in Bergen and the European U18 Championships in Jerusalem.

The people around her are worth naming. She vaults for KKL Kielce under Agnieszka Wrona, and the other name in her bio is a physiotherapy clinic in Kielce. Her post about them in June was not an advertisement, it was a thank-you: professionalism, commitment and passion, she wrote, and it is thanks to the people who make it up that she can still enjoy jumping and keep pushing past her own limits. Vaulters take more impacts than any other athlete on a track. Having a clinic that keeps you in the air is not a footnote to the career. It is the career.
